1. Who we are

2. Information we collect

We collect the following, most of which you provide directly:

• Contact information — your email address, and (if provided) your name and location.
• Assessment information — your answers to the AI Career Score questions and profile details (role, industry, years of experience, situation, and goal).
• Resume and profile content — if you purchase a rewrite, the resume text or file you upload or paste, the AI tools and usage you describe, your target role, your top achievements, and any current LinkedIn headline/About or profile URL you provide.
• Payment information — when you buy, our payment processor (Stripe) collects your payment details. We do not receive or store your full card number; we receive limited transaction data such as confirmation, amount, and your email.
• Usage and device information — basic analytics such as pages viewed, actions taken (for example, assessment started or completed), approximate location from IP address, browser type, and similar technical data.

3. How we use your information

• To provide the Service — score your assessment, generate your personalized report, and (for paying customers) generate your rewritten resume and LinkedIn content and deliver the files to you.
• To communicate with you — send your report and deliverables, purchase confirmations, and service messages, and (if you opt in) our newsletter and follow-up emails. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.
• To operate and improve the Service — troubleshoot, analyze usage in aggregate, prevent fraud and abuse, and keep the Service secure.
• To comply with law — meet legal, tax, and regulatory obligations, and enforce our Terms.

4. Automated / AI processing

The Service uses third-party artificial-intelligence providers to generate your report and rewritten documents. To do this, the text you provide (including your resume content) is sent to those providers to produce your output. Our AI providers process this content to deliver the result and, under our agreements with them, do not use your content to train their models. AI-generated output may contain errors or omissions; you are responsible for reviewing it before use. The Service does not make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.

5. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the Service, and only as needed to provide it. These include:

• Payment processing — Stripe.
• Hosting and database — our application host and Supabase.
• Email delivery — Resend (transactional email) and beehiiv (newsletter).
• AI processing — our AI provider(s), such as Anthropic.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or safety or those of others, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (with notice where required).

6. Data retention

We keep your information only as long as needed for the purposes above. Uploaded resume content is retained to deliver and support your order and is deleted or de-identified within a reasonable period after fulfillment. Lead and account information is retained until you ask us to delete it or unsubscribe, subject to legal or accounting requirements.

7. Your choices and rights

• Access, correction, and deletion — you may request a copy of, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing support@stillsharp.ai.
• Marketing emails — every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link; you can opt out at any time. We will still send necessary service messages (for example, your receipt).
• California residents — you have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including to know, delete, correct, and opt out of "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell your personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us; we will not discriminate against you for doing so.
• EU/UK residents — where the GDPR/UK GDPR applies, our legal bases for processing are your consent, performance of a contract with you, and our legitimate interests in operating the Service. You have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port, and object to processing, and to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.

8. Cookies and analytics

We use essential cookies and limited analytics to operate the site and understand aggregate usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect functionality.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, such as encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children

The Service is intended for adults and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. International users

We operate in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the U.S., you understand your information will be processed in the U.S., where privacy laws may differ from those in your country.

12. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new effective date and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Policy.
